FCPS CARES submissions for the month of February 2025.

February 3-7 is National School Counseling Week, highlighting the tremendous impact school counselors have in helping students achieve academic success and planning for a career. School counselors work with students in many ways, such as classroom lessons, group sessions, and individual counseling.

FCPS is home to many families with multiple members working for the district. We invite employees to be celebrated this Valentine's Day for their love and dedication not just to each other, but also to FCPS.

Dr. Reid writes about all the great things happening in Fairfax County Public Schools. This week she attended the FCPS Communicators Conference, the Family Vision Group meeting for Quad 1, and the Girls Wrestling Zone Qualifier; met with the Student Advisory Council, visited Weyanoke Elementary School, and more!
