Goal Setting

Setting goals can support self-management and the achievement of personal and academic goals. Use this editable goal setting sheet to help your student identify personal goals and monitor progress toward goals.

Rewards and Consequences

When used appropriately, rewards can increase positive or desired behaviors and consequences can decrease negative or undesirable behaviors. Click here for information on how to successfully use rewards and consequences with your student.

Behavior Charts

Charting behaviors can help keep track of how well your child is doing with positive behaviors (e.g., homework and chores). Identify 3-5 behaviors and reward the behavior(s) with stickers, points, or coloring in shapes which may then add up to other rewards like trips for ice cream, an activity with a parent, small toy, etc. Click here for editable example!
