School laptops, chargers, and MiFi devices must be returned

Returning Laptops and Chargers

During the last week of school, teachers of in-person students will collect their FCPS laptops and chargers. If your in-person child has a school-issued MiFi device, you must also return it in its case with the charging cord and wall adapter during the last week of school.

Parents of online students must bring their child’s laptop & charger to school at one of the following times: 

  • Friday, June 11, 3 - 6 p.m.
  • Monday, June 14, 10a.m - 12 p.m. or 1 - 3 p.m.

If you have a school-issued MiFi device, you must also return it in its case with the charging cord and wall adapter. Our laptop collection event will be a drive-though process with no appointment needed.

We expect that the laptop will have some wear-and-tear. Please do not clean the laptop unless you have safe cleaning supplies that will not damage the device (when in doubt, do not clean).

Parents/guardians are required to reimburse the school for the replacement of any lost devices. Checks should be made out to Hollin Meadows Elementary School for the cost of the device.
